Ann Cicchiello
4-year term
Ann Cicchiello has been a dedicated member of the East Lyme community for 20 years, raising two children who thrived in the town’s schools. A graduate of Boston College and the University of Connecticut School of Law, Ann has practiced law for 30 years, bringing a wealth of professional experience to local governance.
Currently serving on the Board of Selectmen, Ann is recognized as a bipartisan voice for taxpayers, balancing fiscal responsibility with high-quality town services. Her prior leadership roles include Vice Chair of the Board of Finance, where she helped maintain stable taxes during the pandemic, as well as Vice Chair of the Inland Wetlands Agency, promoting responsible development while preserving open space.
Ann brings integrity, expertise, and tireless dedication to every decision. She remains committed to protecting the community, promoting smart growth, and keeping East Lyme a place all residents and businesses are proud to call home.
Jason Deeble
2-year term
Jason Deeble has been a middle school math & science teacher in southeastern Connecticut for 20 years, bringing his passion for education, problem-solving, and community engagement to everything he does. He and his wife moved to East Lyme in 2006 to start their family. Jason began his municipal service on the Inland Wetlands Agency in 2018, moved to the Planning Commission, and now seeks a second term on the Board of Selectmen.
He is a proven leader, practical decision-maker, and advocate for the community— supporting education, the arts, and programs that enrich local life. In addition, Jason’s creative spirit shines as a published children’s book author and comic creator, and active state-wide musician. "I’m dedicated to making East Lyme a vibrant, thriving community where families, schools, and local businesses succeed together."
AnThony Attanasio
2-year term
Tony Attanasio is a 30 year resident of East Lyme whose service to our community includes 18 years as a trustee of the East Lyme Public Library, two four year terms as an elected member of the Board of Assessment Appeals, and chairman of the Historic Properties Commission. He was also one of seven members of the Electoral College from Connecticut in 2020.
Tony has a son who attended East Lyme public schools graduating from ELHS in 2007. He has been an engineer at Electric Boat for 37 years, and has a bachelor’s degree in naval architecture and a master’s degree in computer science.
