A Sweet Night Out with the East Lyme Democratic Candidates

On Friday, October 10, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, the East Lyme Democratic Town Committee invites you to a one-of-a-kind evening at the home of our co-chair, Scott McCallister. This is not your ordinary campaign fundraiser – it’s a night of celebrating cocoa in all its amazing forms, wine, conversation, and a dash of mystery.

Guests will enjoy a curated chocolate tasting, paired with wines for those who wish. While sampling, you’ll have the chance to meet and talk with our full Democratic slate – candidates for Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Finance, Town Treasurer, and other key commissions. It’s a perfect setting to connect personally with the people working hard to serve our town.

And because East Lyme deserves a campaign season with some fun, the evening will also feature a “Death by Chocolate” mystery game, where guests can join in solving the case of the “un-alived” person. Period costumes are welcome – and highly encouraged – for anyone who feels like stepping back in time while indulging in chocolate and civic engagement.
