What You Need Know to Vote on November 4, 2025

Polls are open from 6 AM to 8 PM on Election Day

Early voting starts October 20th at Town Hall

 

Early Voting

Early voting for the General Election runs October 20 – 31 and November 1 and 2. This includes two weekends.

Hours 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Extended hours 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 28 and Thursday, October 30.

Early voting takes place at East Lyme Community Center, 41 Society Rd, East Lyme

Absentee Ballots

REQUEST ABSENTEE BALLOT ONLINE: (online Application for November General Election available Sept 20)

Alternatively, you may request an absentee ballot from the East Lyme Town Clerk 

You may submit a paper absentee ballot application now. Absentee ballots are physically available 31 days before the General Election.

Drop boxes for completed absentee ballots can be found outside the front door of Town Hall – 108 Pennsylvania Ave, Niantic. You may also return your absentee ballot by USPS mail or hand deliver to the East Lyme Town Clerk’s office.

Absentee ballots must be received by the East Lyme Town Clerk, PO Box 519
Niantic, CT 06357 by 8 pm on Election Day, November 4th.
